I know! I realise this is my second post on her but nooo, I can't resist. She's everywhere! Seen here, Emma in the August 2009 issue of Teen Vogue as the Cover Girl (woot!) of the month. Right after her fashion features in Vogue Italia and then Elle UK, she amazes us with another high-fashioned stint for Vogue Magazine. I was and am right about this girl, she continues to blaze her trail into the world of Karl Lagerfeld while managing to squeeze in her busy schedule to cozy up to author JK Rowling, both of whom she can claim to know personally.

This ambitious lady seldom disappoints when it comes to showcasing her talents to the world. Besides her somewhat passable acting skills, it seems to me that she's growing into her looks and figure. I hope she finds her true calling and blossom gracefully into a t

ruly talented personality where many of her fans can look up to her.

Personally, I find that she could emulate the likes of Drew Barrymore, with her youthful and fresh look. Hmm, she could expand her acting horizons and venture into comedy or maybe a starring in romcom with Hugh Grant. Wait, eww! Too old, that's more father and daughter stuff.

Her latest landing as Vogue's cover girl shows how she burst into the fashion world with edgy styles and quirky wardrobes; much unlike her character Hermione who I doubt care little about looking pretty, much less presentable. ;)

Lo, check out Anna Sui's Gossip Girl inspired collection. These summer dresses, can you believe it, are inspired by the lovely, messed up characters of Gossip Girl--Blair, Jenny, Vanessa and Miss Blondie Selena. I'm all for Selena and Vanessa's look. Classy, not too slutty, oh and Vanessa's a tad bohemian which I totally dig. Anna Sui's 'Inspired Target Collection' rekindles my long-awaited dream to walk the streets of New York. What, I'm not that shallow! It has actually been a seeded aspiration of mine, which is quite fragile still I'll have you know! They always say not too build too many castles in the clouds or risk heart-wrenching disappointment. I say what's life without its painful Mistress.

Digress a bit. lol!Hmm, I should really start looking up what NYU has to offer for an aspiring journalist such as yours truly.

Bahhh, she's one of those teen stars who hasn't gone down the Lindsay Lohan road(minus her leggings fashion line,which I can relate to, by the way). Yet. Though I'm holding my breath for her to make the most of her current success. At least while the Harry Potter hype is still gonna last for the next year or so till the whole franchise exhaust itself. tee hee.

Isabel Lucas or Megan Fox? Em. Which is sexier or prettier? What a shallow question to ask! =)Btw, that's not gonna seal the deal if I'm gonna get my money worth from my robotic cinema experience.

Anyway, here's a rather lengthy and wordy description of Michael Bay's latest action flick, from one of the serious dudes from CNN, so pardon the maze of words here. I was quite taken with the way he wrapped his insult around such creative wording.hehe. Read it yourself.

"It's not the extravagant firework display that rankles. It's everything else: the dull and pompous exposition, the trite characterizations, the tacky love story, the dismal comic relief and incongruous pretensions to the status of a popcorn epic!"

And a guy from work, bluntly gives us the down-low, it's a shitty story, practically plotless but with awesome CGI effects. Uh. duh. It's Michael Bay.
He's the bang-wham kinda guy. Or else, he wouldn't be telling Megan Fox that "you're not sexy enough" and chooses her micro-tight wardrobe himself. Now we know where that short-short skirt from the memorable scene of Fox backbending over Sam's Camry, comes from.

My Tribute to Farrah over Jackson

Michael Jackson died at 50, Farrah Fawcett died after a long battle with anal cancer and Jeff Goldblum from Jurassic Park fame plunged to his death. Gosh! As if we're not traumatized enough from the violence in Iran, we get shocking news all in a span of hours. MJ's death, well I get that he's a pop king and all that jazz, but never was a big fan of him, what more after the child molestation charges against him. Never mind that, we all know never to speak ill of the dead. Whoopsies!

I'm more saddened at the loss of THE Charlie's Angel, Actress Farrah Fawcett, whose layered blonde mane and ubiquitous swimsuit poster transformed the once-unknown "Charlie's Angels" star into a '70s icon, who died Thursday.

She was 62.

I would always remember her fondly as she was so memorable to a 14-year-old me, watching the 1976 Charlie's Angels movie.
Fawcett - who waged a three-year battle against anal cancer - died with her longtime lover at her bedside.

What really touched me to the core was her sheer will to stay alive. Fawcett travelled the world in search for a cure to her disease. Sadly, she died before tying the knot with her lover. And that was just a short time after he proposed to her- " 'I've asked her to marry me, and she's agreed, as soon as she can say yes, maybe we can just nod her head."

Such a sad loss. I think she could have kept inspiring girls everywhere.

I'm gonna try to get a hold of the documentary "Farrah's Story" which aired in mid-May, or get meself that 1976 Charlie's Angels film to watch again. I'll be on my couch with my hanky and Godiva chocolates while Fawcett is immortalized on film as Jill Monroe.

Friday morning is all about getting out what I've bottled up inside for the whole week since.

Topics to rant out of the top two things that frustrated the joy out of me was,or are actually, how anal some men are and the unfortunate eye-rolling-stuck-up-condescending-members of the fairer sex. Um. I meant the byotches. Or rather one particular bitch who I've taken enough crap from this week. Enough! Ohh, isn't that a song or movie of J.Lo's. haha.

Adorable really. Pretty sure I won't be cooing here if they were cats instead.

Surprise.Surprise. I had a sort of epiphany this morning. This was while I was in the LRT, being sandwiched by bigger size passengers.

Rude and generally mean people always get what they want, at least in my world they do!

For instance, this obnoxious tudung lady wants a seat and she glares at you - you give in. Uh, I will particularly after that Cyclops glare of hers.

So, I had this sudden thought; Screw manners and everything decent. When push comes to shove, I'm gonna transform to my sassy alter-ego, Niquita. Lol! You know not to mess with this girl. Kickass kitten!

Especially when you are dealing with deliberately uncooperative people at work, Niquita shall come into play and save my day!

So, back to my epiphany - you just CAN'T be nice all the time. Wish I could be all smiles and rainbows, but I'll probably be trampled over.

Okay. I admit.

I am guilty. Can't help being addicted to ANTM. I've watched all 12 cycles. The last cycle's winner, Teyona was my least favourite winner of the whole Top Model dynasty. Ugh!

Never mind that.

I'm currently watching reruns of Cycle 5 on You Tube.

Ignore the model on the left. No, wait! Don't ignore sweet Analeigh. The rightful winner of Cycle 11 if I have any say next to Tyra Banks.

It is my individual opinion that the victorious model of the latest 3 cycles of ANTM are rather undeserving to the title compared to the runner-ups. C'mon! Just look at Cycle 10! Whitney isn't even in the same league as Anya. Plus-sized model? Yeah, rite. Give me Toccora Jones anyday rather than a serving of catty Whitney.

____I digress. This is just a ranting of my obsession on America's Next Top Model.

Eagerly awaiting Cycle 13- rumored to be the modelling opportunity for petite American girls. Huh? Petite+American = must be a rarity in America. Petite girls everywhere, look out for the future short model of America!

Is this actually as fun as it looks?

Presently, the events in my life has been quite unpredictable- suprisingly! Well, my 20 years of life so far has this trend of being a series of low-key excitements . But what do I get this time? Interesting events poppin' out from unexpected crook and cranny.
I'm glad though. Only goes to show
suicidal-depressed folks out there that there is always icing on the proverbial cake even if your favourite cherry topping has been chewed and spit on.

Anyhoo..I had a really bad day at work last Friday. Expected myself to wallow in self-pity at home but I got to Marmalade in Bangsar Village and rewarded myself with their delectable carrot cake. So decadently delicious that my bad thoughts went flying out the window and in comes the sunshine and the singing angels (figuratively speaking of course).

Hence, this goes to say that you can always end your day on a high note despite earlier misfortunes with your wardrobe and coffee (my euphemism for lousy day at work). ^_^
